On October 11, 2022, I was a featured speaker at Classics Continuum, a student-led conference celebrating the lasting influence of Latin, Greek and the classics. The event was held at the International House of New York, a residence for international graduate students near Columbia University.

My talk, Arguments in Athens, Rhetoric in Rome: The Roots of Our Democracy discussed Athenian democracy, education and society, how it influenced our own today, and what we can still learn from it.
